👃 Lots of indulgence on the nose. Pastries (meringue, candied fruits, mild honey, caramel), a very nice note of chocolate between milk and white combined with ripe banana, woody with soft spices, cinnamon. Then, a characteristic quite vegetal sugarcane smell that evolves towards fruit brandy, mirabelle plum and pear. 😋 Feels like having a very smooth malt whisky, like Oban 14 or Glenrothes 10. You find the sweet and honeyed notes, vanilla, varied fruitiness (banana, papaya, lemon, yellow fruits). Olfactory markers lighter on the palate than on the nose. Rather watery sensation, but hey, it’s very easy drinking. ⛳ Spicy, then sweet, honeyed, candied softness, vegetal freshness of the blend’s youth, yellow fruits. 💡 A very nice blend mixing 2 terroirs rarely combined. It almost feels like having a new rum in the glass. This impression of smooth whisky on the palate is surprising and welcome. Too bad the nose and palate are so out of sync.

The nose is pleasant and lively, with a pretty slightly coppery color. Once in the mouth, there is immediately the bite of alcohol, not very pleasant but still leaving a nice aroma of pepper, wood, passion fruit. Cool.

Now that's a beautiful blend! You really have a lot of roundness, there's butter, vanilla, ripe fruits typical of Belize, then on tasting you take this base and evolve towards a subtle freshness, surely Mauritius, and the finish completely twists: you get a little kick, and go into spices. Honestly, I'm impressed! If I had to add something, it would be a bit more length, but that's just nitpicking :) Thanks Guillaume and l’Ours! Edit: Tasted again, even better!
