Excellent rum, despite the strength it remains very round and indulgent on the palate. A very complex rum, notes of candied fruit, very woody. On the nose very sweet but not felt on the palate. The finish is long, an explosion in the mouth after 3-4 seconds that makes the tasting exceptional. To be drunk after 20 minutes of oxidation.

It seems to be extremely sweetened! This sticky sweetness masks almost all the flavors... only roasted nuts and alcohol are still perceptible... I could imagine it in mulled wine

On the nose coffee, licorice, molasses. Typical solera taste of chocolate, coffee, caramel and very sweet, full-bodied and alcoholic, with distant spicy notes, medium and intense finish.

Quite a bit of sugar in it. Little character. I blended it with other inferior rums to make cocktails for guests.

Phew, what can I say, sugar bomb. Don Papa on steroids. This is the first "rum" I dilute because of the sweetness. With a good splash of filtered water, it's somehow drinkable. Some fruit aromas even come to light. But overall really terrible.
