Gas station smell + Clairin Sonson + olives + thyme 😅😋 is a bit weird, but still a great rum!
Review by Martin Ekrt
The smell is nothing like New Bacolet. It's kind of bland, a little dried fruit, a little saltiness. The palate is also more subtle and approachable. At the same time, it's not a memorable piece, which is a bit of a shame. I would take it as an aperitif, though.

Huge improvement on pre-cask old bacolet. Rounds out the taste without losing asucb on the nose. Well done

Renegade are not my favourite rums and here it is confirmed again. I can smell the sweetish taste of prawns, which just doesn't suit me with rum. But it's definitely more drinkable for me than the HV Renegade, where I'm not even able to finish a glass.
