Belle dégustation de ce single cask Fidji de chez plantation. Au nez : bois, fruits, raisins, note de chocolat également pour moi. En bouche : on retrouve le bois avec une note plus pimentée et chocolat. Belle longueur. On sent assez bien le côté alcool (51,7%)

All in all an easy sipper from Fiji. The very clear Fiji notes don't quite come through, but can still be tasted. The cask brings a nice complementary sweetness that makes it an easy sipper for in between. Nothing extraordinary. More suitable as a mixer than neat.

I wouldn't have been able to identify the rum blind. The residue in the finish takes me away or not to Fiji. The finish is not very round. The alcohol could also be better integrated. But all in all an interesting sipper.

#6235 16.01.2026 Running a few samples after work and a nice week at my new job. Nose Fresh, light wood, light marzipan, light floral, chocolate, light caramel, light pear, wine. Palate Oily, medium spicy, light wood, light floral, light chocolate, light caramel, light nutts, faint marzipan, ginger, light wine. Finish Medum to long, light dry, medium spicy, light wood, faint smoke, dried fruit, light caramel. Empty glass Raisin, chocolate, light caramel, vanilla, light honey.

Whisky'n'More Hattingen März 2026. Als letztes einen Fiji bei Maison Ferrand. Schönes Teil, leichte Süße dank Schokolade und Karamell, ist aber auch leicht würzig und holzig. Schöner Abschluss an diesem Stand.

The finish already comes through in the taste. This makes the rum nice and round, but the base no longer comes through so well. The finish is somewhat alcoholic.

Joa. Wenn das mein erster Fiji wäre, würde ich da nicht weiter machen wollen. Easy Sipper, durch das Marsala Finish wird er recht süß, der Grundcharakter geht irgendwie verloren. Der Alkohol ist recht präsent und macht den zusätzlich noch bitter. Mit Coke on Ice bestimmt gut.

Slovak edition 51,8 for alko90.sk. very nice fiji, spicy, with agricole reminiscent aroma, chocolate, explosion of taste in your mouth. Sort of a home made booze but kind of uplifted with Chocolate and a nice spicy touch.
