citrus in the aroma, especially grapefruit peel the taste is brutal after a few seconds, it scratches the tongue like sandpaper, but then it passes and a pleasant fruity taste remains very impressive and intense 51%!

Wow, what is that? What a cool thing that is. I've never had mescal finish in a glass before. Both the base and the finish are clearly recognizable. Neither really dominates. Both complement each other quite well. Possibly even better with a little more oomph. Thanks @TheDunderhut for the sample.

In contrast to other, diluted and cask finished Trinidad Distillers, the beautiful original distillate can still be clearly found here. The mezcal complements it. As a Trinidad fan, I really like this bottling. Slightly alcoholic finish as a drop of bitterness.

The mezcal influence is clearly present. The typical tdl profile can also be tasted. A little flat at the beginning. Could do with longer storage.

An interesting combination that works well. Beautifully balanced nose. In the mouth first a slight sweetness with bitter orange, dry and towards the finish comes the barrel with roasted flavors. The whole thing is a little thin but still good. I am positively surprised.
