Reviewers land in a happy place with this one: it's an aged Martinique agricole that plays down the raw grassy edge and leans round and honeyed. Expect pear (Williams pear keeps coming up), sugarcane, honey, gentle oak and warm winter spice. Several tasters call it soft and pastry-like, almost "tarte tatin" on the nose, with the 42% well tucked in. Not the sharp, vegetal agricole some expect.

#5752 28.09.2025 Day two of the Whisky Live 2025, which this year looks better organized/arranged inside. A nicely balanced blend of different Millesimes. Light woody with fruits and spices and a faint leather and floral touch.

Distillery Trois Rivières Distillery Martinique September 2026. There were no tours today, so you had to explore the still on your own, but you could still taste a few rums in the shop. Very tasty.

Trois Rivières offers a nice Triple Millésime that aims to be harmonious and quite deep. The nose offers lovely woody notes, accompanied by tobacco and spices. While we find an archetype of agricultural freshness with sugar cane, it is rather this more honeyed, more caramelized side of the cane and exotic fruits that come to delight the nostrils and bring complexity. The profile is not very 'agricole' and that is rather pleasant. The palate reveals more chocolatey flavors but also dried fruits (raisin, walnut) and spices (vanilla, pepper). The wood, tropical fruits and the sweet side of sugar cane bring their share of indulgence. The profile is round, balanced and with a good oily texture in the mouth. The alcohol is well integrated in this Millésime mix, where each of them seems to have contributed to the building of this well-rounded juice. The finish is moderately long but extends this sweetness with honey, spices, dried fruits and cocoa. The tone is a bit drier but preserves the roundness initiated from the nose to give a subtle and delicate rum. A very good bottling, soft and complex and which allows to make the link between quality rum and very affordable price.

A slap in the face! A complex nose, with fruit (Williams pear, a little mango) and warm winter spices. The alcohol is very well integrated. A true Martinique rum, and one of the best I've ever tasted.

On the nose wood, red fruits and spices in an excellent roundness. The palate is enveloping and delicious with the same hints and an 'addition of leather, vegetable, peanuts and a final sweetness. Extremely round and palatable

Tasting of this triple vintage, very much to my taste. It's round and greedy for an agricole, and the alcohol is well integrated. Notes of sugar, sugarcane, pear and honey. Slightly oaky. The finish is of medium length, still with notes of honey and sugar cane.

Very fresh nose: Haribo banana, apple/pear, almond paste. With a woody note like cedar still quite present. On the palate, a bit too diluted obviously, but far from completely ruining it, a very pleasant mouthfeel, good depth nonetheless.

Nose: Unctuous and fine, the nose initially reveals aromas of tarte tatin and honey. This is followed by hints of William pear alcohol and Timut pepper. Palate: Round and well-structured, the palate is dominated by notes of spice, gray pepper, ginger and even sweet peppers. The palate remains surprisingly fresh, while at the same time exemplifying richness and complexity. Finish: A long, fresh finish with subtle accents of oriental spices.
