Salon note: Nose relatively closed, quite paradoxical to have a first sip so focused on date and fig in addition to tropical fruits and to have such a short mouthfeel despite the 55%. Slightly bitter finish for such a young rum, that's a shame. Another rum probably not worth its price.

The nose is strong and pungent with red fruits, wood and slight toastiness. The palate retains the same aromas but adds seasoning and a sour note that makes my nose twitch, although in the finish it rounds out into a sweet finish
