CDI Uitvlugt Guyana 1997
Licorice, mango and old varnished oak, with a surprising fruity lift of overripe banana and pineapple over the wood. The 45% makes it very drinkable and keeps the smoke and heat in check, but several tasters call it thin and a touch diluted on the palate. The finish, though, is extremely long, dry and warm — that's where the Uitvlugt character shows up.
- Very long finish
- Fruity over oak
- Easy to drink

Review by Zorman 🇩🇰
Very good. When nosing it’s very hard to resist the urge to empty the glass. The 45% make it very drinkable.
Review by N’ours
Pretty well balanced. The low degrees break up the very smoky, alcoholic side often found in this distillery's bdf, bringing out a fruitier profile without losing power and length.

Nice Uitvlugt profile,but too weak

I didn't like it. Too light for my taste. Lacks complexity, no length.
