N. Kröger Wagemut Fasssprache: Kiri Rum N. 13 2023
Opinions land around "interesting more than great" — this is one experiment in a 16-cask project, and members treat it that way. Aged an extra six months in Kiri wood, it stays close to the young base: recognizable oak, black currant, green apple, a clear tobacco note that runs into the finish, salty-peppery underneath. At 62.7% the alcohol reads well integrated. Several tasters wanted a longer rest.

The look inside the bottle
How does N. Kröger Wagemut Fasssprache: Kiri Rum N. 13 2023 taste?
Aggregated from 10 community reviews.
Young, woody Trinidad with a tobacco streak Rated as a fun tasting exercise rather than a bottle to chase — the Kiri wood adds tobacco and a touch of sweetness, but most find it too close to the young base rum.

Leichte Nuss, leicht speckig-rauchig, Alkohol besser eingebunden, insgesamt runder.

Fasssprache N. 13 Kiri vs. N. 01 Basis Rum.
