7,3:On the nose, the base rum is slightly alcoholic, we have young oak, nutty, spicy vanilla, a bit resinous, bourbon impact with butterscotch, yellow fruits, some pear, minty molasses, floral and herbaceous, quite round. 6,2:On the palate, the attack is alcoholic, rough, the rum is thin, a but fruity with yellow fruits, there is metallic patina, the oak is young, slightly resinous, buttery, spicy with vanilla, we get pastry, butterscotch, the molasses brings vegetal notes like mushrooms. 6,3:The finish is short, dry, thin, light, tannic, soapy, the oak is resinous, nutty, some vanilla could be noticed..

Wagemut Fasssprache No. 01. Feels more like a somewhat better rum from the discount store. I find it quite alcoholic on the nose and palate. Somehow it has a rough taste, for me the finish is too long.

The base rum of the fasssprache set. Trinidad 3 years old without finish. Young wood, light tannins, light spice of vanilla and pastry, some yellow fruit like pear and a light bourbon cask sweetness. Alcohol could be better integrated but what do you expect from such a young rum?😃 I've drunk worse. Let's see where the journey with the rest goes.
