Wagemut cask language No. 09, here the ash cask. Comes across as woody to me on nose and palate, otherwise I find it a bit bitter. All in all a rum that is okay but does not stand out from the cask language.

7,8:On the nose, pear fruit schnapps, intense, strong barrel impact with spicy oak and creamy notes like vanilla, butterscotch, nuts, chocolate, waxy and herbaceous molasses, bump into our nosetrils, metallic patina and then mirabelle plum, orange and the molasses becomes flowery. 7,5:On the palate, the attack is rather mild with spicy and nutty wood, notes like vanilla, butterscotch, pastry, fruits like apricots, mirabelle plum, orange and pear, like fruit schnapps, the molasses brings herbaceous touch. 7,6:The finish is medium long, dry&tannic, furry, mild, with similar notes as from palate nicely complementing each other..

Esche: Perhaps the lightest in color in the series. At the same time, also the fruitiest so far, the wood is almost ironed out especially on the nose. Extremely juicy fruity mirabelle, pear, apricot and orange peel with subtle vanilla. Extremely mild and pleasant to drink. One of the best in the series, I never would have expected it. And on top of that from my homeland!😃

Ninth sample of the Wagemut Fasssprache. On the nose a lot of roasted wood Yellow fruits maybe mirabelle On the palate rather very weak: spicy, woody, some fruit finished A light spiciness remains in the mouth The finish stays peppery spicy. Nothing exciting in my world.
