7,7:On the nose, the first impression we get is round, buttery with smoky and nutty oak and notes like butterscotch, confectionery, spicy with ginger, fresh with grassy, herbaceous molasses, slightly fruity. 7,3:On the palate, the attack is dry, tannic, furry, slightly astringent with smoky wood and notes like caramel, chocolate, spicy with pepper, ginger, fruity with dried fruits, apples, the molasses is green, herbaceous. 7,2:The finish is medium long, dry and tannic, mineral, the oak is spicy with pepper, ginger, nutty, fruity with apple.

Japanese Mizunara wood: Overall not so intensely aromatic from the barrel influence: some apple, ginger & pepper. However, much more intense, elegant and rich oily tannins. That's what makes Mizunara so special in "pure form". Elegant yet strong and distinctive!

Today the last 3 of the Wagemut cask language, to finish now the Mizunara oak cask. Here too oak and wood come to the fore and the oak taste stands out. It's a solid rum but nothing special.

16. Probe der Wagemut Fasssprache: MIZUNARA OAK In der nase hab ich fast nichts Etwas holz keine besonderen anderen Gerüche. Im Mund auch ganz wenig schöner Geschmack Taninne und Pfeffer sind ganz dominate Begleiter ich weis nicht was an diesem Holz besonders sein soll mir sagt es nicht wirklich zu Im Abgang wird es dann auch nicht wirklich besser. Sorry nichts für mich
