7,5:On the nose, the first impression we get is mild, light, creamy and oily, round with roasted, spicy, nutty oak with cocoa, fruits like dried, citrus and herbaceous, flowery molasses. 7,2:On the palate, the attack is light, mild, dry, but creamy with roasted oak and notes like caramel, spicy vanilla, fruits like dried, yellow and citrus, herbaceous, flowery molasses. 6,9:The finish is medium long, dry and slightly tannic, light with smoky, nutty wood, caramel, fruity with dried fruits, the molasses is herbaceous..

Chestnut: A bit very shy both on the nose and palate. Basically balanced but no particularly intense aroma that stands out. The alcohol is also a bit upfront here. Seems to me a rather very neutral wood.

Heute die letzten drei der Wagemut Fasssprache diesmal das Kastaniefass. Auf jeden Fall ist das Fass herauszuschmecken und auch das Holz kommt gut durch, aber Kastanie explizit kann ich jetzt nicht herausschmecken. Ist aber ok.

14. Probe der Wagemut Fasssprache : CHESTNUT In der nase leicht holzig etwas Karamell. Im Mund dann vor allem viel holzigewürze mit bei Klang von süßlichkeit ohne süß zu sein. Sehr leicht zu genießen vorausgesetzt man mag 45% Alkohol. Der abgang ist sehr weich aber auch nicht viel sagend es bleibt bei Holziger würze mit etwas Karamell.
