Historic, sweet but very low impact A niche, historic rum: soft, sweet, slightly port-like with floral and fruity hints. Interesting to taste, but thin, low-intensity and lacking the Jamaican character many expect today.

An der Nase chemisch, kräutrige Noten wie bei Obstbränden. Im Geschmack dann leichter Honig, etwas Rauch, etwas Gummi. Gefällt mir aber gut. Leichter Stil der an verwässerte 86er Rockleys erinnert. Jamaica nicht zu erkennen. Hintenraus wird der Rum dann süß.

An der Nase noch etwas ansprechender als am Gaumen. Noten überreifer Tropenfrüchte, allerdings im noch relativ gemässigten Spektrum, dazu Eindrücke der Fasslagerung. Am Gaumen wohl infolge der Verdünnung deutlich flacher. Insgesamt eher unspektakulär, wobei mich das Gefühl nicht loslässt, dass bei dieser Abfüllung mit höherer Stärke mehr möglich gewesen wäre.

Riecht sehr stark nach einem Obstler. Irgendwas zwischen Mirabelle und Kirschbrand. Am Gaumen ist das komplett weg und er wird sehr süß. Schön ist, dass diese Süße im Abgang noch sehr lange anhalten darf.

Nikis und Arturs Jamaikanische Aventurien Teil 2. Zu erst Mal wieder ein dickes Dankeschön für die Chance solche Raritäten im Glas zu haben. Um es auf den Punkt zu bringen, war Jamaikanischer Rum vor Jahrzehnten nicht der Rum, den man heutzutage aus Jamaika kennt, denoch sehr interessant diesen zu probieren. Diese sind nicht wirklich spitzenmäßig, aber denoch mehr als Trinkbar.

Nikis und Arturs Jamaicanische Aventurien No2. Kurzer Auftritt egal ob Nase oder Gaumen . Etwas Frucht und Zuckersirup Vanille. Relativ viel Süße . Florale fast Blumige Nase leicht Parfümig. Sehr wenig Alkohol denke unter 40%

Un rhum de la série “Niki’s und Arturs Jamaiksnische Aventurien Teil 2”. Comme de la poussière au nez, avec du plastique, du Porto ou plutôt du Sherry. Peu d’esters. En bouche le côté désagréable du plastique réapparaît, avec toujours du Sherry, des fruits jaunes et un côté floral. Pas un mauvais rhum, mais le goût et l’odeur de vieux plastique me dérange.

Er riecht nicht sehr intensiv, aber die Noten erinnern mich an Obstler recht süß aber sehr schwach. Geschmacklich bestätigt sich das nicht. Da ist es eher würzig. Und ein bisschen dunkler und mit einer natürlichen süße.
