I bought this rum and opened it right away to taste it. Both the aroma and the flavor are very fruity. In my opinion, you don't really notice the 45% ABV. The rum is really very mild.

This Journey label TDL rum is overall not very expressive. The nose is very soft, slightly fruity and woody. On the palate, floral and spicy notes appear. The finish, medium length, is floral with a touch of young wood.
