Review by cigares
A rum tasted at the Lucerne Gin and Rum Festival in 2024. A beautiful, quite complex nose with vegetal, roasted, pastries, pear and quince and citrus. The palate lacks subtlety with quite a lot of citrus upfront, wood and yellow fruits. The alcohol could be better integrated. The finish is quite nice with beautiful bitters at the very end. A rum I like, but the palate is not up to the rest.

Airy, magnificent nose and the palate is totally different, less interesting! Bitterness in the finish! Then, empty glass, the rum is completely different on the nose. Bottle tasted in Crans-Montana with friends.

Just a candy, not powerful, indulgent, slightly spicy, a citrus aroma that turns to exotic fruits, then comes a caramel cream... top, a rather short finish, yet I allow myself a piece of dark chocolate five minutes later... and then the mouth explodes in flavor :) a top j.m
