A discount store rum that can't do anything and that you can use for something (baking, mixing, flaming punch etc.), but not for drinking neat. Very neutral without aromas and watered down. Only a slight caramel/vanilla note is present on the nose.

Extremely flat, alcohol tastes very strong, not well integrated... totally fine for baking, there are way better ones for mixing. Should avoid drinking it neat.

Not undrinkable by any means. Very restrained, one-dimensional, mild when neat. Works fine as a long drink with cola/lime. Of course, you can't expect miracles for €6.99. I secretly slipped it to friends who mostly drink Havana/cola, and they liked it😅 My conclusion: You can do it, but don't expect much.

Actually still smells quite okay. But in terms of taste, it's very watery and not much happens besides the alcohol. It somehow tastes like rum, but not really good. At most for mixing if you want to knock something back.
