Relaxing with a few samples after work and bike training while listening to Yazoo - Greatest Hits, getting a bit nostalgic here. Nose: Faint wood, citrus, light mango, faint marzipan, fresh, faint floral, anise. Palate: Round, light wood, faint roasted, light mineral, peppery, pineapple, anise. Finish: Medium to long, medium peppery, light wood, citrus, light marzipan, anise. Empty glass: Pineapple, marzipan light floral, light nuts.

The nose is pleasant and feels round, but lacks intensity. The whiskey and sherry finishes can already be guessed on the nose. Quite a disappointment on the palate, super sharp, smoky whiskey and thin. Too bad Takamaka with their sugarcane juice and pot stills can't do better.
