Lots of toffee-oakwood sweetness, plus fruit esters, quite fiery spiciness, which also arises from the interplay with the high alcohol content. Alcohol content, although the latter does not push itself to the fore. Unfortunately, the rum also lacks a clear focus; it is pleasant but, given its strength, a little too demanding to be classified as accessible. It has something, but personally it doesn't completely win me over.

Johannes Bild Tasting.

Blind tasting #6: very nutty on the nose (hazel nut). Some wood and Vanilia. On the palate: milk chocolate, caramel, pepper. Quite hot. No idea…. Colored Guyana overproof? Cheers, Johannes for the set - was a blast to taste.
