An old sample lying around. Very nice. I really like this ITP profile, which is very gourmand with a pleasant hint of fruit. We're really on a banana and exotic fruit pastry. Very pleasant to drink.

The nose is really good... like sitting in a sea of flowers and fruit in the Caribbean... a sweet, heavy fruity aroma, supported by light esters. On the palate, it spreads softly at a pleasant drinking strength and initially develops a sweetness paired with fruit. Spicy, woody aromas with a medicinal touch then appear. The finish is initially dominated by spices and wood. After some time, dried tropical fruits are added. The whole thing takes place at a lower ester level. A success!

Beautiful full proof long pond! Great nose of tropical fruits, cinnamon cookies and light esters and car paint😅 spicy taste, intensely woody with decent tannins and astringency, here the tropical maturation comes into its own! But then also a nice cinnamon/banana bread and furry sour kiwi note! The tannins dominate the finish and are rounded off with a little dark chocolate. Beautiful thing! 🇯🇲

Great fruit, light ester *to be updated*

A great tropical fruit basket with guava, half-ripe bananas and also very slightly some dried mango, pineapple and passion fruit. Solvent and polish with spice and pastry notes. The nose is really delicious. The palate adds a nice astringency. Seems to be a lower LP Mark and there is definitely tropical maturation involved - not just almost (see label 😂)

In my opinion a good bottling. A pleasing Long Pond. I just find the information a bit confusing and would like to know how long it was stored tropically. Otherwise there's hardly anything to complain about. Solid rum. I only find the finish very short.
