#6112 24.12.2025 A few more samples before leaving for our Christmas get together. Nose Fresh, medium intense, sugarcane, grass, light mineral, citrus, spice. Palate Oily, medium intense, peppery, sugarcane, citrus, light mineral, faint floral, light coconut, faint ginger, light salt. Finish Medium to long, peppery, sugarcane, spice, banana, light salt. Empty glass Sugarcane, light floral, ginger, light coconut, faint olive.

Yikes, this one feels like a bit of a miss for me. While the distillation quality is undeniably solid, the taste falls short. It comes across as quite empty, although not to the extent you’d find in mass-produced white rums. It’s definitely a step above those, but still lacking the depth I was hoping for. There’s a faint sweet note, but beyond that, I had a hard time identifying any other concrete flavors. The nose is actually pretty pleasant, with a clean, bright sugarcane character, along with mineral, vegetal, and slightly fermented notes. While it’s clear that this is a well-crafted distillate, the flavor profile feels too thin and incomplete, making it hard to fully recommend despite the evident quality of the production.
