8,7:On the nose, the first impression we get are esters with tropical and red fruits, as the wood is roasted with burnt sugar, pastry, almond and molasses is herbaceous, vegetal with a hay. On aeration, more sherry notes are evident, there are some kiwi,spices and earthiness. 8,8:On the palate, the attack is woody and fruity with tropical fruits like banana, mango and pineapple, dried fruits like figs, raisins, prunes, as the wood is spicy with allspice, is roasted with nuts, marzipan, caramel, honey and a bit smoky.The molasses is at first floral and herbal, getting darker with licorice, later we could notice some olive, hay and tobacco and from fruit, there might be some bitter orange, lemon peel. After resting, it becomes very creamy, tasty with honey&pastry and delicious strawberry. 😋...withva pinch of salt. 8,5:The finish is long with roasted wood notes, vegetal, herbal, earthy molasses, dry and spicy, as we might notice some unpleasant soap and tannic notes.The fruits are red, dried, citrus and tropical. Very tasty, inspite of some disturbance on the finish...

I'm a bit ambivalent here... the nose is great with sweet tropical fruits, vanilla and almonds. On the palate, initially a heavy sweetness with fruit... the longer it lingers on the palate, the more bitter it becomes, from bitter orange to black tea steeped too long. The alcohol bites again later on. The finish is also dominated by bitterness. I'm not really convinced, but it's still young 😎

Solid young Hampden, light almond tones. Matured shallowly. Alcohol still somewhat rough and unbalanced. Will certainly benefit from longer storage. Too expensive in terms of price.

Insanely inviting nose and incredibly smooth and round on the palate. And that after only 3 years of maturation! A great example of how a short maturation period can achieve a lot! Great sweetness and great aromas of honey banana and black tea as well as herbs in symbiosis! Despite the sherry finish, which I'm not really a fan of, this is a really successful rum, as it tends to stay in the background. A positive surprise.

Noses, you really don't need to say much more about Hamden, anyway, best (active) distillery ever. Again awesome banana and pineapple here, no matter what, it tastes great, I really like this really awesome Hampden anyway

Sunday evening inside, after a rainy day - why not go to Jamaica? Very nicely made for a 3 year rum. Floral and ester-y in the nose, and a fruity mouth sensation that gives way to some funkyness and a rather long aftertaste

Young Hampden that, despite its age, especially impresses on the nose with plenty of tropical fruits and esters. On the palate, the strong (sherry) cask influence stands out, which I like much better than usual, bringing bitter and roasted notes.

A decent HLCF but I definitely prefer it to the version bottled exclusively for Whisky Live Paris. This one is a bit too acidic on both nose and palate. On first taste it is also slightly too loaded with tannins.

For its young age, it already has a lot of oomph. Beautiful esters on both the nose and palate. I involuntarily gave it a little more time in the glass than I wanted. I couldn't feel any bitterness now. In my opinion a little too young and impetuous, more time in the barrel would have done it good. Personally, I find the price a little exaggerated.

First approach was negative, too aggressive. 2 years of open bottle let me see the true value of this rum, a pleasant Hampden with some more depth added by sherry, that highlights some of the fruity notes of this rum

Wonderful Hampden so young and fresh, nice nose of glue, vanilla and raisins, red fruits and roasted wood. Very tasty on the palate, so fresh, young wood noticeable after 3 years of aging, sweet, spicy and fruity. Very tasty with oily consistency in the mouth, you hardly notice the alcohol. Nice long sweet and warm finish.

I expected a bit more. It's a pleasant Hampden, lots of fruit, not so many esters, you can taste sherry. But even among young Hampdens there are better ones.

Tasted 4 Hampden Marks side by side today. Next to this HLCF the RX14237 (LROK), RX21615 (<>H) and RX26049 (C<>H). Color is gold. On the nose a subtle but balanced aroma. Yellow fruity, banana, light sweetness, mild. Not worse than the <>H. On the palate a nice mix of fruit esters underlined with solvent esters and fine sweetness. Also yellow fruity here, banana, slight glue note. A bit young, but the ABV is there without burning. Gains with time in the glass. The finish is quite long on the palate aromas and on the fruity/funky side. In strength of aroma it’s naturally not on the level of the C<>H, but it comes close to the <>H. Nice rum and gained 2 points with time in the glass.

The smell shows extraordinary experience, the taste does not confirm that. Sour Hampden with less esthers ... Hampden, legendarni jamajska destilerka, ktera krome rumu produkuje take alkohol do parfemu. Ve vsech rumech z teto destilerky ucitite divoke estery, po kterych cely vas organizmus nasakne vuni zluteho tropickeho ovoce - manga, papaji, anansu, broskvi. Jeden z rumu, ktere "must try before die"

Incredibly good nose, with the typical Hampden markers: tropical fruits, esters, fruity. On the palate, it quickly becomes clear that the distillate is quite young. Especially the alcohol is clearly noticeable. On the positive side, the sherry maturation works here and does not overpower the rum.

This rum makes me believe even more that hampden is at its best with a few years of aging. Slightly smoky, the wood nonetheless cut through quite a bit. Lots of pineapple and a fil rouge of balsamic vinegar. A nice dram
