A nose of dry herbs, roasted pineapple, yellow fruits, varnished wood and boat tar. A slight acidity with citrus and licorice gives it lightness. A nice entry on the palate, then the dilution is felt, then the aromas come back and regain strength. The finish is quite long with acidity, fruits and a slight damp cardboard. A nice discovery here with a full-bodied rum. I would clearly have preferred 10 more degrees of alcohol to reveal its full potential.

8,2:On the nose, sweet sugar cane juice with brown sugar, caramelized, herbaceous and grassy, then black tea, roasted wood, spicy and dried fruits are the first impression we get. On aeration, red wine notes with red fruits arise, some pineapple and spices like cinnamon. 7,7:On the palate, the attack is rather diluted with roasted wood notes like caramel, spicy with vanilla and fruits like raisins, dried apricots and red fruits, later grapes, as the cane is herbaceous, earthy with tobacco and dark with licorice, slightly bitter. 7,2:The finish is medium long, dry and tannic, with green and herbaceous cane, spicy and nutty wood, lot's of cardboard notes, fruity with dried fruits, especially apricots...

Last one for today. Like the previous one, this is mostly woody. I like it though. On the nose also slightly spicy and red wine is recognizable. On the palate it becomes rather sweet. Light caramel and vanilla notes are recognizable.
