This was my favourite of the 5 Dram Mor rums tasted. It is a OWH mark from Hampden with 3years tropical and 6 years European aging. It has a warming and approachable funkiness with a tonne of brown sugar, overripe banana and pineapple notes. Great rum and a very reasonable price. Tasted as part of a UK Rum Club Dram Mor tasting hosted by the excellent Kenny McDonald of Dram Mor.

The other reviewer has stated this is the Hampden OWH marque. This is good stuff; strong but controlled funk (glue also) on the nose, the palate is heavy on overripe bananas and pineapples, some fennel, black olive, mineralic/flowers, hint of something dirty/industrial. Pleasing oily mouthfeel but the finish could be more profound. Update - coming back to this. I like this even more. The palate is heavy on overripe pineapple, tarmac and black olive. Really enjoyable.
