👃 Nice fruity and floral nose. The aromas remind me of those found when entering an artisanal soap shop. Multiple orchard fruits, candied sugar cane, candied lemon, dried fruits, ripe grapes, warm spices, a bit of glue. Excellent integration of the alcohol. 😋 The palate is livelier, spicy, peppery, tannic and alcoholic. It's like a blend of Agricole, Cognac and Calvados. Rough cask, bitter and dry even if we keep fruit, orchard and candied notes, with a leaning towards Alsace fruit brandies. Slight trace of solvents. ⛳ Starts with an impression of salty licorice, dry sugar cane, dry, spicy, cocoa cask. Then, grilled coconut, alcohol warmth, cask astringency, pepper. Long warm finish. 🏆 Very good value for money at the time (€70), for a lively, intense agricole rum, with a true identity, moderately complex with a high alcohol content very well integrated on the nose and powerful, in a good way, on the palate.

somewhat alcoholic pungent, discreetly soapy on the nose, rather reminiscent of cognac, smoky, some cinnamon, apricot and pear and extremely woody on the nose.Taste also very woody and similar to Cognac, mainly pear, even more wood and tannins, in addition very astringent and alcoholic not particularly round but rather sharp-edged, something salty soapy and reminiscent of fruit bread in the finish and overall just unfortunately for my taste much too dry, woody and too little Savanna DNA. blind I would have said 80% Cognac Mixed with 20% Savanna.🙈

30.11.2019 A great afternoon and evening with friends, good food and of course, rum. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Lightly sweet, light wood, fruity, citrus, sugarcane, light citrus, grass. Palate Light wood, grass, citrus, lightly sweet, Agricole, faint strawberry, light earthy, medium dry. Finish Medium long, light wood, light strawberry, pear, faint caramel, vegetal, medium dry.

Excellent Savanna Creol. I particularly like the apple notes. A really nice daily sipper. Only the finish leaves a little to be desired.

Direct comparison with RX16261 The nose here leans more towards yellow stone fruit. An amazing sweetness and at the same time wood and smoke. Everything together is perfectly balanced. Compared to the Japan Tribute, the typical Agricolet markers are almost as pronounced here. The clear difference in age is noticeable here. The pome fruit remains on the palate, but the Agricole is noticeable here. Just like the age before. Superbly balanced

A fruity-woody nose, dried fruits like sulfurized apricot and cherry. A hint of red wine clearly leaning towards cognac. Dry, slightly smoky and reminiscent of soap powder. But there is also a sweetness like cotton candy present. Wonderful tension between woody-spicy, bitter-salty and fruity-sweet on the palate. Comes very dry, has a slight red wine acidity, again dried apricot with blackberry. I also think I find vanilla and nutmeg. This slightly soapy note from the nose I also find on the palate. A really exciting rum.

Sweet fruity nose. Pear-like infusions. With spice. On the palate definitely pear, could be a Calvados. Powerful rum with plenty of aroma and bang. Great. Recommended buy while it's still available.
