HDGL … so richtig kann ich mit ihm nichts anfangen… er trifft nicht so ganz meinen Geschmack, aber als Mixer könnte ich ihn mir sehr gut vorstellen. Die Nase ist noch recht gefällig, aber am Gaumen ist er doch recht anstrengend… ich habe zudem eine Fehlnote (chemisch), die ich nicht ganz fassen kann. Irgenwie ist das nix

Durchaus interessante Messeabfüllung dieser Jamaica Blend von FRC. Bringt in der Nase ordentlich Funk mit viel Ester und tropischen Früchten. Am Gaumen kommt das Fass stärker durch und der Rum hat etwas zu kämpfen, bleibt aber dann doch relativ präsent. Für den Kurs sicher ein empfehlenswertes Mitbringsel von der Pueblo del Ron gewesen.

Verkostet auf der Pueblo del Ron Nürnberg 2024. Der Rum ist eine schwierige Sache. Pur beim ersten Schluck geil, daheim wieder so naja. Mittlerweile als Mixer probiert im MaiTai. Fazit super geil. 50€ aber Hallo mehr davon. Keine Offenbarung. Aber muss man trotzdem haben. Extremer Fomo Rum!!!

Wow, eine absolut positive Überraschung! Viele Ester, typischer Jamaica Funk... Nach vier Jahren kontinentaler Reifung hat er noch eine gewisse Schärfe, die den Rum exklusiv für den geübten Gaumen trinkbar macht. Danke an DomM für die exklusive Abfüllung.

Still a little one-dimensional on the nose on the fruit ester track, but with a nice marzipan-biscuit sweetness on the palate. Of course, it would have been exciting to taste what effect a little more time in the barrel would have had here - but it remains a good release even as it is, although it is somewhat lost in the mass of other young Hampdens.

Tolle Nase, bei der der Gaumen leider nicht mithalten kann ("Your Nose writing checks that your palate can't cash"). Als Mixer vermutlich ziemlich brauchbar, pur aber nicht wirklich, da gibt es bessere. Ich bereue es nicht, hier keine Flasche bekommen zu haben.

Nice blend of Hampden, Long Pond and Clarendon with a solid ester content and this some funk. All components of the blend are distinguishable and add to an overall nice bottling. Obviously this is very young at 4y continental aging but delivers a vibrant bottling which should als work well in drinks. Price/Quality is top notch.

Der Name hat glaube ich mehr Wellen geschlagen als die Qualität es tun wird 😉 Aber das ist trotzdem ein grundsolides Bottling das da für die Nürnberg Village an den Start kam. Laut Kirsch ein Blend aus HD, LongPond und Clarendon der 4 Jahre im Fass war. Und ja: der Name steht laut ihnen tatsächlich nur für “Hab dich ganz doll lieb.” Schöne Nase und auch pur trinkbar. In jedem Gall ein super Mixer.

#4700 19.04.2024 Relaxing at home after the luxury tasting at Romdeluxe was cancelled due to lack of participants. Nose Fruity with a touch of peach, light wood, ester, light glue, light wood, light medicinal. Palate Wood, tannins, fresh, fruity, spicy, glue, naturally sweet. Finish Long and lightly dry, wood, tannins, light medicinal, citrus, light smoke. Price to quality is very good in my mind. The empty glass har faint sour cherry.

Sehr gespannt war ich auf diese Abfüllung. Die Nase ist nach ca 30min sehr zugänglich und Fruchtig Funky mit ordentlich Tropischen Früchten und Marzipan und Butterkeks 😯😯... richtig gut . Am Gaumen hält er leider nicht was die Nase verspricht... immer sehr gut und lecker das steht außer Frage aber hier kommt mir zu sehr die Bitterstoffe rüber ... irgendwie eine Mischung aus Jungem LROK und Jungem STCE mit paar Tropfen MM ... für mich Pur nicht stimmig... und einfach zu Bitterlastig . Punkte gibts aber für dieses geile Label und die Verwirrung 🤣🤣 PLV Top !! Alkohol trotz des jungen Alters gut eingebunden.
