Nice blend of Hampden, Long Pond and Clarendon with a solid ester content and this some funk. All components of the blend are distinguishable and add to an overall nice bottling. Obviously this is very young at 4y continental aging but delivers a vibrant bottling which should als work well in drinks. Price/Quality is top notch.

HDGL ... I can't really do anything with it ... it doesn't quite meet my taste, but I could imagine it very well as a mixer. The nose is still quite pleasing, but on the palate it's quite tiring... I also have an off-note (chemical) that I can't quite grasp. Somehow it's nothing

I think the name has made more waves than the quality will 😉 But this is still a rock-solid bottling that was launched for Nürnberg Village. According to Kirsch, it's a blend of HD, LongPond and Clarendon that has been in the barrel for 4 years. And yes: according to them, the name actually just stands for "Love you very much." Nice nose and also drinkable neat. A great mixer in any gallon.

I was very curious about this bottling. The nose after about 30 minutes is very accessible and fruity funky with plenty of tropical fruits and marzipan and butter biscuit 😯😯... really good. Unfortunately, the palate does not deliver what the nose promises... always very good and tasty, no question, but here the bitterness comes through too much... somehow a mix of young LROK and young STCE with a few drops of MM... not coherent for me neat... and simply too bitter-heavy. Points though for this awesome label and the confusion 🤣🤣 Great value for money!! Alcohol well integrated despite the young age.

Tasted at the Pueblo del Ron Nuremberg 2024. Rum is a difficult thing. Great neat at the first sip, so-so at home. Now tried as a mixer in MaiTai. Conclusion super cool. 50€ but hello more of it. Not a revelation. But you still have to have it. Extreme Fomo Rum!!!

As a fun bottling with this funny name at the original fair price really good, alcohol surprisingly well integrated for only 4 years. On the other hand, it’s also "just" high ester glue with some wood and smoke. You can do it, but you haven’t missed anything if you didn’t have it! 😃 makes a good Mai Tai!

Young & wild Jamaican mix. you can distinguish all the components of the blend, but honestly a bit too rough for my liking. Maybe would have been better with some more time in a cask, but like this it is probably better used as a mixer.

I really like this rum. Lots of tropical fruits on the nose, very funky, also esters are noticeable. On the palate also very well done and lots of tropical fruits. Alcohol is well integrated. Delicious.

Quite an interesting fair bottling of this Jamaica Blend from FRC. Brings good funk on the nose with lots of esters and tropical fruits. On the palate, the cask comes through stronger and the rum struggles a bit but remains relatively present. For the price, certainly a recommendable souvenir from Pueblo del Ron.

#4700 19.04.2024 Relaxing at home after the luxury tasting at Romdeluxe was cancelled due to lack of participants. Nose Fruity with a touch of peach, light wood, ester, light glue, light wood, light medicinal. Palate Wood, tannins, fresh, fruity, spicy, glue, naturally sweet. Finish Long and lightly dry, wood, tannins, light medicinal, citrus, light smoke. Price to quality is very good in my mind. The empty glass har faint sour cherry.

Not an ester firework on the nose, but nicely round, with fermented fruits and buttercream. On the palate a bit rougher. With longer aging there would definitely have been more to get out of it. But for the price of 50 EUR it's nitpicking on a high level... many thanks for the split to Nbg!

Still a little one-dimensional on the nose on the fruit ester track, but with a nice marzipan-biscuit sweetness on the palate. Of course, it would have been exciting to taste what effect a little more time in the barrel would have had here - but it remains a good release even as it is, although it is somewhat lost in the mass of other young Hampdens.

Wow, an absolutely positive surprise! Lots of esters, typical Jamaica funk... After four years of continental aging it still has a certain sharpness that makes the rum exclusively drinkable for the experienced palate. Thanks to DomM for the exclusive bottling.

Trade fair bottling Kirsch nbg. A damn delicious nose, followed by a not quite as intense taste on the tongue. Overall a good Jamaican. A real bomb for mixing, also okay neat. Cheers! Update: After tasting again, it goes up two points. I just like young distillates...

For the price, you can't complain much, even though it didn't convince me. The fruity Hampden portion comes through strongest in the blend. But it's also relatively bitter and unfortunately has a pretty smoky note.

Very fruity smelling rum. High ester is clearly noticeable there. On the palate it really comes through. I like the long warm finish. The alcohol is relatively well integrated. An absolutely good value for money.

Easy Ester sipping without complexity and fuss. Great nose with esters, tropical fruits and a bit of varnish. Unfortunately, the palate can't keep up with the nose. After a nice start with fruity esters, the whole thing unfortunately goes quite flat quite quickly. Little complexity, but easy sipping.

On the nose a small fruit bomb, with light glue notes, nice. On the palate also fruits, light glue notes, a bit woody paired with slightly peppery notes. The sharpness is noticeable, about 800 gr/hlpa and 62.8% vol. Love you very much, for 50 euros a "no brainer" at the fair.
