Thai rum produced from rice. I think it’s slightly better than its brother, Mehkong. Not to be drunk neat, but it works well as a party drink mixed with 1/4 Coke or Sprite. There have been some bottles ordered in Bangla Road, Phuket. Have a bottle in my Rum Bar just to remind me of those heydays.

5,8:On the nose is very thin, sweet, with hints of sugar cane, herbs, rosemary, basil, caramel and coffee. Some cinnamon, rose water, vanilla, white chocolate and some cream arise. 5,5:On the palate, it is weak, thin with ripe fruits:mango, some nuts, coconut, cinnamon, nutmeg. Not much on the nose. Subtle hints of vanilla and popcorn, a touch of lemony citrus. The palate is just as light as the nose. Sweet and sour with a little medicinal note in the mix. The finish doesn't hang around for long. The medicinal note clings the the mouth the longest. Super subtle. Not sure what to say about it. Not much to be offended by or admire.

After much hesitation, I bought this rum on a whim. It's surprisingly smooth, with a slight sweetness. It's actually quite good and drinkable, especially for a cheap rum.

A very mediocre rum tuned exactly in the style that customers expect. That is, topped with sugar, a little vanilla flavour and something spicier. There is a hint of alcohol in the aroma and taste, overall it can be used in drinks at most.

Not as bad as the memory of buckets would suggest. Real sweetness and caramel on the mouth, fairly full and bullish finish with petrol and ethanol. Vanilla and sugar on the mouth with some unintegrated alcohol. Not great but if need must an option as a mixed drink

Tasted 23-01-2016 This was one of my first tasting events and it was disgusting then that taste like a herbal dishwater. Revisit in 2020 and still had the same opinion that if you take your dirty dishwasher water and add caramel colouring this is what you get . Vile
