The Whisky Jury South Pacific The Many Faces of Rum 2012
Highly praised modern Fiji: funky esters, glue and plastic wrapped around green banana, tropical fruit and dry spice. Clean, powerful and well-balanced, with alcohol impressively integrated and plenty of character.
Fans of funky, ester-driven rums who enjoy plastic/glue notes, tropical fruit and dry spice at full proof, especially drinkers already into Fiji, Jamaican funk, Mhoba or PM-style profiles.

Belle claque au nez ..en bouche je trouve l'alcool super bien intégré dommage que le prix soit pour du 50 cl ..sinon la note aurait été meilleure
8,8:On the nose... 8,8:On the palate 8,6:The finish is..
I haven't had many Fiji in my glass yet, but here the nose picks me up straight away with a still slightly green banana and esters. Very round and beautiful. On the palate there's another baked, slightly green banana, followed by esters, a little glue and some plastic. Reminds me a little of Papalin 7, which I also liked. The finish is banana-like and of medium length. For me, a really tasty drop, I even like it a tick better than the New Yarmouth 2009 from the same release.
