תחרות טעימה עיוורת לא יודע על מה החבר'ה מדברים פה ברשמים. מדובר ברום מאוד מתוק. קצת תפוזי. הרבה סוכר. סוכר חום. קרמל. דבש. טוב אולי לחובבי הסיגרים. מאוד חלש בפה. מה שכן לא מרגישים פה משהו מלאכותי וזה בונוס. בינוני מאוד אבל עובר מסך.

Nez encore marqué rose, saké, je ne comprends pas ! Peut-être chocolat mais en chocolaterie… bouche légèrement alcoolique et cette présence florale qui persiste et ce goût de saké. Finale qui réchauffe l’œsophage.

Overall an OK rum from the SdC distillery, part of the Cuba Ron S.A. is aged for 12 years in old oak barrels and bottled without additives. It’s a little above average, but doesn’t really match their 11 year release. The nose is woody and fruity with lots of aroma of vanilla. At the palate and during the medium long finish it’s well balanced, woody, roasted, fruity, nutty with some spiciness and sweetness and flavors of plum, coffee and vanilla.

A completely normal average rum that goes down the throat well. Can be enjoyed neat or mixed for cocktails. Nothing special but also not a rum I wouldn't advise against.
