Rum Shark Appleton Jamaica (Single Cask Selection) 2010
Sipped neat, this leans more bourbon-like on the nose — vanilla, spice and that "typical Appleton background" one taster pinned exactly. The palate turns fruitier than the smell suggests, with tropical notes and a charred, malty edge. At cask strength the alcohol pokes through; a couple of members felt Rum Shark pushed the ABV a bit hard, and a splash of water helps it settle.
- Classic Appleton character
- Tropical, spiced palate
- Bourbon-like nose
