I just returned from a luxury tasting I was invited to and I'm actually a bit tipsy this time because all the rums had a high proof. This tasting was Plantation extreme only and this is the fifth one of the six. This just keeps getting better. Some of the best Fiji has to offer and then matured to perfection by Plantation. Sweet and soft bodied rum very well balanced with the proof. Typical Jamaica style rum and you won't regret a sip or two. Price to quality is good.

Really awesome 2001 Fiji that I wanted to try again for a while. Intense notes of lychee, Turkish apple tea and black tea, mint, lemon verbena and black pepper as well as shoe polish and glue. The nose is clearly fruitier than the taste. All in all a great 2001 Fiji!
