Tropical fruit and passion fruit up front, then oak, sugarcane and that grassy agricole edge on the finish. Distilled in 2003 at Depaz and aged 13 years, this cane-juice rum leans fruity with light vanilla over a clear woody backbone. Give it time in the glass — a few tasters found it opened up nicely. There's a faint bitter note early that the fruit soon covers.

Considering the price tag this is a very good rum. Leave to rest for a while to release all the flavours. The nose is fruity with wood and cane as well as light vanilla. The palate is fruity with wood, vanilla, cane and grass as well as a light herbal note. The finish is medium long and woody with grass and vanilla.

A fresh and fruity nose. A slight citrus note and maybe peach with raspberry. On the palate initially a bit bitter, but immediately replaced or complemented by a nice tropical fruitiness. Clear passion fruit. On the finish you still have a nice piece of passion fruit and then get the typical grassy Agricole aftertaste. Nice fruity Agricole.

The color is beautiful, a coppery gold, a bit syrupy. The nose is lightly woody with notes of citrus, vegetal and some dried fruits, at the end slight notes of sugar and menthol. The attack on the palate is very soft, it is balanced with a good length, the palate matches the nose.
