On the note very strawberry forward. Im looking at the labels abv and surprised. On taste very strong strawberry and almost like strawberry cheesecake flavour. I have to say i was mindblown about this one. Not too sweat and abv feels really pleasant. I would say this is an excellent rum for nest sipping, afrer dinner dessert, good rum to showcase the diversity of rum to people who dont drink rum and cocktails too. Had a sample taste at Berlin Rumfest 2024. Sadly they had already sold all the bottles of this rum. This bottle goes to my wantlist

This was one of the highlights for me at the 13th GRF!! Unknown Australian distillery, white rum with perfect integration of alcohol and a remarkable taste of strawberry, yoghurt (reminds me of Yoghurette), ester, caramel! I wish I could post the McMahon meme now 😜 Very cool :3 It will make a delicious daiquiri😬

The first rum I tried at the 13th GRF (Opening Party), and it was a hit! I'll just say: savanna galore. At least that's what you think when you first smell it. Alcohol very well integrated. Great light rum from an Australian distillery I've never heard of before for relatively little money. A real Savanna would be at least twice as expensive.

To be honest, I would never have thought of Australia blind. At first I immediately had an association with the Lord. For the price, I think it's a nobrainer that I'll definitely buy a bottle or two of to make daiquiris with.

Would have blindly guessed a Savanna (high ester, overripe strawberry). A real insider tip!

After I had already tasted it at the GRF and found it to be very good, I finally took the time to rate it in detail. And I am still thrilled . The similarity to a HERR is quite astonishing. Chapeau to the distillery! This ester/strawberry aroma with the sweet/sour note is perfect. And now for the daiquiri

Nose clearly better than on the palate. Quite beastly and pungent on the palate. However, the strawberry and milk notes are very interesting and something new. Not really my thing neat and the bottle will certainly be used for cocktails.

🍓Full broadside of strawberry yoghurt both on the nose and in the taste. There is also some white chocolate, butterscotch and pepper. Great new profile from Australia, somewhat reminiscent of Reunion Grand Arome rums. The alcohol is also perfectly integrated. But the most important thing at the end: makes a super cool daiquiri that blindly reminds you of savanna Herr! Only without the olive. Instead, intense strawberry yoghurt, white chocolate - caramel chips and funk! Surprisingly delicious, more of this please!

8,2:On the nose, the first impression we get is an overripe ripe strawberry, with esters, raspberry, medicinal, turning into red berries yoghurt. On aeration, tropical, citrus fruits join, vegetal aspect, it becomes peppery, a bit pungent, pretty intense, some varnish helps. 8,1:On the palate, the attack is overly fruity with almost rotten strawberry, paired with tropical and citrus fruits, esters, medicinal, metallic touch, settling in a red berries yoghurt. It is intense, but creamy, slightly peppery. When the rum is rested, vegetal notes participate, grassy tone perhaps, smoky notes with crunchy bread, later yeast, as white chocolate rounds our tasting experience. 8,1:The finish is pretty long, still intense, slightly bitter, as notes continue their journey, with more vegetal nuances...

Beautiful rum. Has a great nose, is very fruity, strawberry is to be emphasized here. Also very fruity on the palate, strawberry and yoghurt are recognizable. This rum tastes very creamy, but esters are also recognizable.
Review by TheRhumhoe
A real UFO in the world of rum. The image of strawberry "Petit Danone" yoghurt really titillates the nostrils, with its fruity, medicinal and dairy character. There are also fermented and phenolic notes on the glue, light esters and varnish. An original product that leaves no one indifferent. The palate is creamy, medicinal, a touch metallic and just as zany. The strawberry leaves a little more room for the exotic fruits one might find in yoghurts and flavored ice creams. Esters, varnish and a touch of fermentation remain, but without dominating the palate. Alcohol is well integrated. The finish is of medium length, retaining the framework present on the nose and palate, this chemical, fermented, fruity and creamy concentrate. A real surprise that may augur well for Kilik's small distillery in the years to come.

Intense berry notes on the nose - strawberry candy! Same on the palate with a nice creamy texture. While I‘m usually not a big fan of Austrailian Rums, this unaged expression is really nice.

"Wow, what's that? Fermented fruit such as strawberries and plums, but also fruit from the orchard and a strong creaminess reminiscent of yoghurt with fruit. The acidity even builds noticeably over the next few moments. Behind this, lemon peel and a subtle herbaceousness emerge. Fermented strawberries, a few herbs and then metallic aromas on the palate. The acidity of the nose is less noticeable on the palate, but there is a nice creamy/oily mouthfeel. Tastes like a Savanna HERR light. The next day you can clearly smell the fermented aromas in the glass."

"Well I was hoping for more given the reviews. The nose is a promising start of some savanna and some Jamaica but also the brine notes that so many new distilleries get with industry yeasts. Lso some dull mineral note if really earthy cachaca. The mouth is again the same of the nose with what I can only describe has heavily unbalanced alcohol. Thet end of the sipping leaves with onlz alcohol and fusel oils. Meh"
