Un rhum dégusté au Rhum Fest en 2024. Un nez très doux et agréable avec du bois de cèdre (boîte à cigares), des agrumes, du végétal et des fruits jaunes. La bouche aussi est très (trop?) douce avec du vieux bois et des côtés pâtissiers, des fruits jaunes et une belle maertume noble. La finale est longue, marquée par le bois.

Embouteillé en 2013, donc assez jeune. Nougat chêne américain toasté, vanille… agréable.. mais quel ennui.

Al naso è dolce e legnoso, con cioccolato, vegetali, spezie dolci, zucchero bruciato, frutti, il tutto caloroso e confortevole. Al palato è molto vegetale con muschio, legno, spezie leggere, e nel finale una dolcezza nocciolosa di fondo morbida e deliziosa. Un abv più alto avrebbe fatto la differenza. Trois Rivières 2006 – 45.2 % Ce Single Cask 2006 résulte d’une expérimentation menée avec une filiale californienne de la tonnellerie Radoux, visant à étudier l’influence du chêne américain du Missouri sur le vieillissement du rhum. Mis en fût le 2 août 2006 et embouteillé le 5 avril 2013, il titre à 45,2 %. Un profil lumineux : les fruits, surtout les agrumes, dominent, portés par un boisé léger et de fines épices. L’alcool est d’une intégration exemplaire. Une très belle réussite, et un vrai plaisir pour conclure ce salon !
