Big sweet orange up front, backed by coconut and a syrupy, candied texture — several tasters flat-out call it a rum-based orange liqueur rather than a rum. Yesterday I poured the rest of this bottle into the a chocolate chip dough I made yesterday. Wow, that was a very nice result. Very moist and the rum/orange flavours added a lot to the final result.

Ist eher ein Rumlikör als ein klassischer Rum. Intensive Orangen-, Vanille- und Kokosnoten dominieren das Profil, während der Rum selbst deutlich in den Hintergrund tritt. Sehr weich und gefällig, aber für Puristen viel zu süß und künstlich. Wer Orangenlikör mag, findet hier einen unkomplizierten Dessert-Drink.

Nose: orange, fruit Taste: tangy, fruit sticks Finish: short Overall impression: fruity liqueur 2022 Very sweet, strongly flavored, Jamaica can be guessed at best - more of a dessert than for pure enjoyment. I use it to drizzle over pastries and as a topping for desserts.

"If I wanted a rum that tasted artificially of or age and was far too sweet, I would have ordered Don Papa" The coconut note in this one is exciting. But otherwise not recommended at all.

Hard to believe this is called rum. Very, very sweet and flavored. The only things dominating on the nose and palate are orange, coconut, and sugar. If you like citrus fruit liqueur, you'll love it - not my thing.

That is just too much. I gave it to my wife who liked it very much. But this one is waaaaay to sweet. Do not recommend. Palate and nose is orange that is for sure and the rest is just plain sugar. It is even hard for me to swallow. Maybe the Jamaican version is better but this one is just awful.

All about orange. Tropical, fruity with strong orange and also some coconut - in the nose and the taste. Nothing else. The finish is even more tropical with strong coconut flavours. Don‘t know if this is a orange flavoured rum, at least it tastes like one. Definitely not for every day sipping, but for some cocktails.

Original impressions from 2017 rum calendar. Nose: **** Taste: **** Overall: **** I’m not gonna lie, I like the sweet coconut taste but to be honest this is more of a liqueur or apertif than a rum. Very clear nose and palate of coconut and orange. Very smooth. I might have overrated this rum a bit back in 2018 but in my defense I hadn’t tasted that many different rums back then and hey, I still like this one :)
