Oh man, another really cool piece from Rum Attitude. You really can't go wrong with this place. This rum here just smells of salt (brine). But otherwise really tasty. Recommendation is out :-)

#6500 16.03.2026 Relaxing with a few samples after my training on the bike while listening to Symphonix and Total Balance. A very well balanced rhum with nice fruity notes, especially peach. The palate is dry yet fresh with sugarcane and citrus with nice herbal notes. The finish is medium long and dry with a more light finish than expected from the palate.

First and foremost this one is heavy on brine, both on the nose and palate. There is a lot of complexity here though. Behind the brine you’ll find citrus, wood, vanilla and some brown sugar like sweetness on the nose. On the palate it is intense but you can find nuts, vegetal notes like tobacco and hay and some coffee and leather. These aren’t the kind of notes that would usually make for a sipper I would really reach for outside of the tasting experience but this one was actually quite pleasant.

Tried at Sunken Harbor Club, so no really notes. This is the longest aged agricole I’ve tried I think, except for the Isautier 16. The juice from PL is still my favorite agricole, and it really shines here. However, I don’t get much influence from the wood. It hasn’t been transformed in a way that would warrant $300 when the unaged stuff is so great.
