In contrast to the one I had in my glass before, this one is a downfall. I had just praised the fact that Cadenhead's green labels aren't that bad... And then came this one. Actually only neutral alcohol and unpleasantly metallic with spiciness. I don't have to have it again. With cola, ice and cola not a winner either.

Color: Light white wine Nose: spicy, rather alcoholic, one-dimensional. Palate: Again, only spiciness. Unfortunately, hardly anything else to taste. Alcohol is not well integrated in my opinion. Conclusion: Unfortunately, the "Green Label Demerara" grab bag has nothing to offer here. Not a good rum
Review by Johannes
Lots of neutral alcohol, column, little flavor.

Neutral alcohol, ethanol on the nose. In the background very faint aromas, prunes, stewed fruits, young wood. Diluted entry in the mouth, watery. Then neutral alcohol, some fruits and a slight sweetness. Very short finish. A rum that seems both cut with neutral alcohol and water. The result, as you can guess, is catastrophic!
Review by Mirco
Simple Demerara with a sweet-heavy profile. On the nose caramel, molasses and a bit of vanilla, accompanied by an alcoholic sharpness. On the palate sweet, slightly woody and not very differentiated, the alcohol feels restless and overpowers the few existing aromas. The finish is short and warm, without notable development. Overall not very complex and unbalanced.

Phew, this is really almost to be thrown away. For 46% way too alcoholic. Young wood with some fruit and neutral alcohol. Absolutely nothing you need again. It hardly deserves the name Rum.
Review by Jakob
Still quite fresh - a bit thin on the nose, on the palate reminiscent of a fruit brandy blend. Alcohol still relatively present despite dilution. Not unpleasant to drink, but a bit uninspiring for true enjoyment.
