Fruity, mild Port-finished sipper A solid stepping stone German rum that’s all about red berries, Port and soft vanilla. Mild 46,8% ABV, naturally sweet impression and clean distillate make it an easy, relaxed sipper with good value.
Those who enjoy soft, fruity rums with Port, red berries and vanilla and want an easy, good-value daily sipper without big alcohol bite or heavy oak.
Fans of high-ester power or deep, woody complexity—this will feel too mild and straightforward. Also not ideal if you want a very dry, oak-driven profile.

Bei ähnlichem Alkoholgehalt glatter als der Feller aus dem Amarone-Cask (RX21529), aber dadurch auch langweiliger. Ein gutes Destillat, jedoch für mich ohne Wiedererkennungswert. Schlürft man so weg ...

Der Feller Rumreich mit Ruby Portfinish verströmt vom ersten Moment ein beeriges Aroma. In der Nase dominieren rote, beerige Früchte, Vanille, leichte Fassnoten und eine dezente Rauchigkeit. Am Gaumen sehr mild, leicht und zusätzliche zu der Nase noch Lakritze und, wen wundert es, Portwein. Im Nachklang ein leichtes alkoholisches Brennen, eine leicht metallische Note. Für mich ist Beides aber nicht störend. Im Gesamten ein sehr runder Rum. Ich hatte selten ein so gut integriertes Portfinish im Glas gehabt.

In der Nase bleibt der Kollege sehr unaufällig. Am Gaumen dann ein sehr sauberes Destillat. Etwa sHolz, Melasse und nur sehr dezent eine Portwein Note. Ein paar leichte Gewürze, das wars. Taugt als daily-sipper ohne aufregend zu sein.

"Die Nase ist beerendominiert mit zusätzlich Trauben, viel Vanille, gerösteten Holz, etwas Melasse und verschiedenen Gewürzen. Im Antrunk kommt eine beerige Süße an, die von Vanille, Zitrusschalen und etwas Lakritze umspielt wird. Im Hintergrund haben wir noch das Gefühl etwas Walnuss zu finden. der Alkohol ist sehr gut eingebunden. Die Cognacvariante gefällt uns aber besser, auch wenn dieser hier einen höheren „Sipping-Faktor“ hat."
