Cihuatán Nantli 2004
Most tasters land in the same place: lovely, soft nose, then a body that can't quite keep up. You get caramel, cherry, milk chocolate and roasted hazelnut with honey and dried fruit, all velvety and gentle. But at 40% several found it thin, with a short finish. This is the oldest in the Cihuatán line — easygoing rather than powerful.

Für Fans von Cihuatán natürlich ein absolutes must have als bis dato ältester der Reihe. Schöne Nase nach Kirsche, Banane, Karamell und Schokolade, geschmacklich dann dezent holzig mit gerösteten Haselnüssen, Honig und Trockenobst, sowie wieder Milchschokolade. Insgesamt ein runder, eleganter Rum für Leute die es etwas gefälliger, entspannter und weniger kräftig wollen.

Very nice nose, soft and smooth, plus points for that. This is by far the best thing about this rum, which has been aged for a long time. However, the 40% suggests that the mouthfeel is too thin, and so it is. The finish is also too short.
