Then there's the Feller tasting set. What can I say, wow, great rum. Lots of esters on the nose, also very grassy and fresh. On the palate, I mostly get nail polish, plus pineapple and quite floral.

#5225 12.04.2025 Running some white samples at home while relaxing a bit. Nose Medium intense, fresh, fruity, citrus, light banana, light nutts, spice, light olive. Palate Intense, balanced, fresh, light oily, citrus, light pineapple, light olive, medium spicy. Finish Long and warm, fresh, light oily, citrus, spice, medium intense, medium spicy, light nutts. Empty glass Spice, citrus, light floral, nutts. Needs to rest for a while to really open up and the ABV to settle properly.

Rum as pure and concentrated on the essentials as it can hardly be. You can literally taste the fermentation. Finish citrusy-peppery. Definitely hard to beat in cocktails, but also a pleasure neat, surely also due to the good alcohol integration.

First time had it at the Black Forest Rumday and mostly ignored it. How good that Feller was also present at the German Rum Festival 2024 and I almost managed to ignore it again. So much for the value I placed on German rum. How good that my brother bought this bottle last year that I'm tasting now. Decent esters on the nose, fruit towards pineapple and lime plus a good portion of spice. On the palate it feels oily, reminds a bit of tobacco and is rather floral. Overall really a nice story with potential for more. Definitely an eye-opener.

Another exciting rum from the house of Feller! Great fine nose with light ester notes, fresh lemon, apple, pineapple, olive brine, and sugarcane. On the palate, unfortunately, it reminds more of a fruit brandy with a strong licorice note. The finish is medium-length and very pleasant.

Very nice esters and tropical fruits on the nose. On the palate pineapple, lime and a subtle spiciness with a strong, medium-long aftertaste. Already very good neat, but as a mixer the unaged standard from Feller also delivers a great performance. Great Rum Cola.

A remarkable unaged rum. Great balanced nose with citrus fruits, subtle pineapple and light spices. Very pleasant on the palate. Really great value for money and especially very good for a German rum. It can really compete with many Caribbean brothers and sisters without problems.

Read full review →The nose starts with extremely fruity esters, reminiscent of tropical fruits and the local orchard meadow and a bit of nail polish. Alongside, a subtle hint of spices and fresh, slightly grassy aromas. We immediately feel comfortable with this scent. On the palate, we immediately notice the very good alcohol integration and nice oiliness. Flavors of lime and some pineapple, again some nail polish, and pepper dominate the aroma, complemented by some fresh tobacco leaves, licorice and floral aromas. A very exciting rum that grabbed us right away.
