Notes issues du Whisky Live Paris 2024 - à revoir et approfondir. J'ai aimé le cuir et les fruits, avec une fin de bouche très douce et soyeuse. Bois présent sans forcer, une texture très huileuse.

#4923 Whisky Live in Paris 27.09.2024-30.09.2024. Another great event meeting a lot of RumX new and old friends. This year three weren't as many new releases as in 2023, but I still had a great time. Nose Fresh, wood, faint smoke, light leather, light vegetal, plum, faint citrus, faint anise. Palate Oily, fresh, wood, light roasted, dried fruit, anise, medium spicy, light citrus, faint tar, faint grass, prunes. Finish Long, balanced, oily, wood, light roasted, raisin, plum, faint leather, faint licorice, light spicy. Also a lovely release and you should give it a try if you get the chance.

Un rhum goûté au Whisky Live à Paris en 2024. Un nez vif avec un bois acidulé tranchant. Le bois est aussi dominant en bouche, mais si l’on attend un peu des fruits tropicaux et un côté végétal se développent pour donner de l’équilibre. La finale est longue, sur le bois et les fruits ne réapparaissent que dans le verre vide. Un rhum plus complexe qu’il n’y paraît au premier abord.

The nose is lively and full-bodied with leather, wood, ripe tropical fruit, herring, and exotic spices. The palate stays on the same aromas with a medium-sweet finish.
