Bielle LMDW 2001
One taster summed it up as "fruity and intense," and that tracks: a single-cask Bielle agricole from Marie Galante that gets more complex the longer you sit with it. Think tropical fruit and dark berries up front, then chocolate, vanilla, caramel, oak and a pinch of sea salt. At 52.4% the alcohol reads remarkably well-integrated, and the finish runs dry and long.
- Beautiful balance
- Long evolving finish
- Heat well-integrated

How does Bielle LMDW 2001 taste?
Aggregated from 19 community reviews.
Complex, dry aged agricole worth nursing A rare 2001 single cask people genuinely loved — balanced, layered and built to nurse slowly. The only gripe across the set: a couple of casks leaned slightly too woody and bitter.

I don't know where they got their hands on this sample, but I'm happy they did. This is a very, very rare bottle and I love it. I let it rest for 15-20 minutes before having a go. Fruity and intense. Love the dry palate and finish. The ABV is really well integrated.

Ouhaouuuuu it's magnificent 🤩 Intense aromas, perfect integration of alcohol, and superb length 😍 This juice is a pure marvel, and well worth the detour. Very happy to have been able to get my hands on this sample 😍😍
