#4927 Whisky Live in Paris 27.09.2024-30.09.2024. Another great event meeting a lot of RumX new and old friends. This year three weren't as many new releases as in 2023, but I still had a great time. Nose Wood, light roasted, fruits, caramel, light coconut, spice, light nutts, vanilla, faint chocolate. Palate Balanced, oily, wood, faint roasted, light salty, light caramel, faint nutts, faint honey, light orange. Finish Medium to long, wood, light roasted, light caramel, spice, light orange, faint coconut, faint chocolate.

A rum tasted at Whisky Live in Paris in 2024. A full, sweet nose (caramel) with acid fruit and wood (vanilla). The palate is full-bodied, with a distinct sweetness, and the alcohol is supportive. The finish is rather long, with fruit and an acid side that invigorates this rum. Gives an impression of sweetness that I don't like, but a very fine rum.

Tasted at the Rhum Fest Paris, partial notes. More fruity and buttery than I remember, and also more pleasant. We reconciled :) Old notes: Notes from Whisky Live Paris 2024 - to be reviewed and deepened. For once, not my thing at all. Either my palate was saturated from the TDL, or the caramel/chocolate mix weighed on me.
