Diamond Corunas Demerara Rum 1990s
Curious Demerara drinkers who want something soft and easy will find apricot, peach and orange peel up front, with a light caramel-and-young-wood backbone. At 40% it's gentle and a touch thin, and tasters kept landing in the same place: pleasant, fruity, but quick to fade. One member summed it up as "okayish rum just very boringly made." More of an everyday pour than a bottle to study.
- Apricot and peach
- Soft and easy
- Light orange peel

How does Diamond Corunas Demerara Rum 1990s taste?
Aggregated from 12 community reviews.
Soft, fruity Demerara that fades fast Most found it soft, fruity and fairly forgettable — apricot, orange and a bit of wood over a thin body. Pleasant enough, but it fades fast and rarely sticks in memory.

Weird and Blind Tasting von Artur. Sample Nummer 4.

Weird and Blind tasting @Artur: Recht dünn, leichte fruchtige Süße, etwas Holz, etwas Melasse.

Weird and Blind Tasting #4 The color is soft yellow, the softness also comes across in the smell and taste. In the nose sweet fruit such as peach, apricot and a hint of banana. Soft and pleasant with a hint of sweetness. This also comes forward in the mouth. In addition to the light fruity you can certainly also taste tones of wood. young wood, soft wood. During a number of sips, sometimes some light warmth is released in the mouth. aftertaste is short to medium long. A nice rum!
