#4928 Whisky Live in Paris 27.09.2024-30.09.2024. Another great event meeting a lot of RumX new and old friends. This year three weren't as many new releases as in 2023, but I still had a great time. Nose Wood, light roasted, fruits, sweet, round, light caramel, faint chocolate, raisin, light cherry. Palate Round, balanced, fresh, sweet, light caramel, light orange, light wood, light roasted, faint smoke, faint chocolate. Finish Medium to long, round, sweet, light cherry, faint chocolate, faint orange, light caramel, light wood. A pretty nice rum with natural sweetness to it.

Notes taken at Rhum Fest 2024, Quick notes and a somewhat heavy palate, sorry :) Here we have: a 20-year-old Panama A rum: powerful, caramelized, woody, quite heavy, with a hint of alcohol Finish: I didn't note :( rather long I chatted too much at the booth and didn't note everything, but it was nice - not crazy for me because I'm less a fan of this Panama destination.

Nose: caramel, milk chocolate and spices. Quite marked by the bourbon cask. On the second nose, a hint of smoke appears. Palate: on these same markers with a hint of peach. A beautiful intensity. Medium-long finish. Very surprised by the quality of this rum. One of the best rums I have tasted. Beautiful selection!
