MHOBA Strand 101
Near-universal thumbs up here, with one lone reviewer finding it mostly glue and not much else. The rest go the other way: ester, varnish and overripe pineapple on the nose, then a warm oily palate of mango, dark berries, vanilla and light pepper. A few pick up smoke and mint on a long, fruity finish. Cane-juice funk that stays juicy rather than harsh.

I simply love this rum, even though it only has 50% ABV. But the fruity nose is just great. On the palate, the fruit comes to the fore, especially dark berries, as well as woody and a little vanilla. Really delicious.

Mostly glue in my nose and not so much more, maybe some fruit. Grassy and spice initially when tasting, but after a while sweetness, brunt sugar and foundation floral. Not bad!
