Famille Ricci Beenleigh Zodiac Cancer 2024
Opinions land in a narrow band here: pleasant and fruity, but not the fireworks you'd hope for from a 17-year Australian pot still. Expect pear, citrus and a touch of coconut over quiet oak, all bottled at a hefty 65.2%. Several tasters came in with high expectations and left saying it was nice but nothing special. That pear note follows Beenleigh around.

How does Famille Ricci Beenleigh Zodiac Cancer 2024 taste?
Aggregated from 10 community reviews.
Fruity 17yo Beenleigh, easy but not deep Consensus is polite rather than excited — easy-drinking and fruit-forward, but tasters expected more depth and length from a cask this old.

15/03/25: tasted @ Brussels Rhum Festival. Probably the oldest Beenleigh i've tasted so far. Not bad, but nothing special either. I expected a bit more. I always get the same pear note on Beenleigh rums.

Brussels Rhum Festival 15/03/2025 Didn't do it for me. Had high expectations but this had nothing. I like there blends more.
