Notes prises lors du Rhum Fest 2024, Notes rapides et palais un peu lourd, désolé :) On a ici : vanille et chocolat, un petit dessert Un rhum : avec un twiste quand même; mais un peu trop droit et simple peut être au final Finale : legere fumée

#6248 17.01.2026 Relaxing with a few samples while watching Star Trek Strange New Worlds. Nose Light, light wood, faint smoke, vanilla, light chocolate, raisin, faint coconut. Palate Oily, wood, light roasted, vanilla, chocolate, light caramel, dried fruit, light banana. Finish Short to medium, wood, light chocolate, dried fruit, vanilla. Empty glass Vanilla, chocolate, raisin, light coconut. Sad that they reduced it, I think the full blown ABV would have been far better.

The packaging suggests a high-quality rum. In fact, you get a rum in the glass which, despite the considerable dilution, tastes okay-good. But nothing more. The finish is quite roasted and bitter, which deducts further points.
