Notes taken at the Rhum Fest 2024, Quick notes and a bit heavy palate, sorry :) Here we have: a very old panama The rum: obviously caramel, but with quite a bit of fruit, too Finish: caramel and woody, rather long with a bit of pep to it vs. 49 degrees

Advent Calendar for my brother 2025 Caramel, vanilla, bit fruity on the nose, the taste is peppery and pungent. For such an old rum, it does not bring anything to the table. The price is absurd for this performance.

If you're into intense wood & caramel with very little fruity notes, this is the one for you. Needs to work in the glass/nose - that's where its strength lies.
