Panama 2008 Transcontinental Rum Line (La Maison du Whisky) Bottled: 2018 52,8% Batch of 5 Casks 38% Aged in Continental Weather Column Still Melasse Rum Farbe: Gold Geruch: Frisch, süß und fruchtig nach Apfel und Traubenschorle. Zudem Aromen von Kokos, Karamell und Krokant. Geschmack: Zunächst süß im Mund, dann würzig mit Karamell. Beim Schlucken würzig mit Toffee, Tabak und Lakritze. Zudem etwas Rosinen. Abgang: Würzig, trocken und holzig mit etwas Toffee. Eigenartiger leicht bitterer Nachgeschmack. Fazit: Guter Panama Rum - etwas besser, als der Compagnie des Indes, den ich zuvor probi

Enjoyed this, particularly more because it came at the end of what was a long-ish day. Sweet, bourbon notes with a fair bit of oak. I am new to Panama rums, this one made me reach out again.

20.12.2019 Notes. Nose: light wood, roasted, fruity, raisin, caramel. Palate: light, light wood, dried fruit, coconut, earthy, oily. Finish: medium long, wood, tea, leather, light caramel.
